Silicon Valley profile and former Agillic CEO joins Custimy Board of Directors

Following the pre-seed funding last summer, one of the biggest ever in Denmark. Custimy now aims towards new goals. The main goal is still the same; Democratize accessibility to enterprise-level software for all e-commerce businesses. This way we can narrow the existing gap between enterprises and SMB’s in e-commerce. This way the smaller businesses are able to compete on level terms in regards to technology and resources.

To reach that goal, Robin Daniels has become a member of the board at the rapidly growing startup. He looks to use his impressive knowledge and experience to globalize Custimy. The company has set its eyes on markets across all of Europe and America. Robin’s help will work towards the massive ambitions that are embedded in the company.

Jesper Valentin Holm is also new in Custimy, and he takes the role of Chairman of the Board. With his role as former CEO at Agillic, another marketing technology company, Jesper comes with incredible knowledge and experience. He has been through a whole process of internationalization, public listing, and running a software company on a global scale. Something Custimy aims to do within a few years too.

Danish Silicon Valley profile to guide ambitious founders

With the experience of Jesper Valentin Holm and Robin Daniels from software and marketing businesses, they are looking to guide Custimy on their way to new goals.

Robin Daniels has spent the last 20 years working with some incredible silicon-valley businesses. Amongst those are his roles as former CMO at Matterport and WeWork, as well as director roles at SalesForce and LinkedIn. He is widely regarded as one of the leading marketing experts in Denmark. And Custimy is exceedingly excited to be able to draw on his knowledge to scale the company to new levels.

On working with data, Robin talks about his own experiences from Silicon Valley and says:

“As previous CMO for some of the world’s leading companies. I know how important it is to have the right data to drive the right business outcomes. This is why I’m excited about joining Martin and Kristoffer in their journey to scale Custimy across the world.”

Robin talks about the founders at Custimy and explains what he has seen so far:

Change the way marketing is done today

The idea to Custimy’s Customer Data Platform started with the founders’ own experiences and issues with data in e-commerce. The founders, Martin Navne and Kristoffer Degn, come with different backgrounds, the former from tech and the latter from marketing. Together, they have created software that is grounded in technology, data, AI, and machine learning to create a product that is made for the needs of marketing specialists.

Robin too sees the incredible value and potential in the Customer Data Platform and says:

“The market truly hasn’t seen anything as simple and as powerful as the Custimy platform. Companies have traditionally relied on stitching together solutions from a bunch of different companies to get the same insights.”

He follows this statement up. And explains how the market looks today and what he sees the role of Custimy to be:
